We were recently at a party and the topic of being a housewife came up. I mentioned that if I wasn’t home to do it, “Our house would NEVER get cleaned.” Trying to help Steven out, someone commented, “Oh, I bet Steven pulls his weight, too.” I held my breath, half-expecting my husband (who was standing right behind me) to agree. Nope. His reply was, “No…I really don’t….”
I must admit, he does help out occasionally by mopping, vacuuming, or cooking. It’s just rare.
